I have just returned from having a quick sherry with Sibyll, when I found that MY STEP HAD ONCE AGAIN DISAPPEARED. THIS TIME, HOWEVER, I KNOW THAT IT HAS BEEN STOLEN. I HAD AFFIXED IT TO THE WALL WITH A LEASH, AND IT IS A LEASH THAT SOMEONE WITH PREHENSILE FINGERS (OR TOES) WOULD BE ABLE TO UNDO. YOU, THE PERSON WHO HAS STOLEN MY STEP, WILL PAY.

I was delighted by your presence last night, Sibyll! but I'm afraid you left a pool of blood under my desk, and it's seeped into my favourite rug. I've had a look around for Argus but have been unable to find him and ask him to come along and clean it for me! Do you know any way to get blood out of a nice rug?
Alas, I've yet to find my step! I think perhaps it might've run away. Sapient pearwood is so temperamental!

I'm really undelighted with the person who stole my step! The step that I use to climb into my bed at night! I am terribly disgusted, because without my step I have to utilize a rather draining Self-Levitation charm!
If anyone has seen my step, please inform me during Charms class tomorrow, or perhaps you can approach me at dinner!
